City Tour - Siena - Palio e Contrada
Take from our collection of private city tours in Siena - the city of il Palio. The walking tour includes a guided visit of the historical city with emphasis on its main event - Il Palio. This famous medieval horse race, run two times each summer (July 2 and August 16) is the centuries old event that has defined this small city in the heart of Tuscany. Among the other higlights, a tour inside one of museums of the 17 Contrada (neighborhoods) that lie within the historical city. Plus a walk through the great "square" where the race is run, Piazza del Campo.
