Take a full day excursion to discover the city of "Towers" - San Gimignano and along the way the most fascinating Chianti landscape with a selection of its wineries. After leaving Siena, your first stop, the medieval fortress of Monteriggioni, used as the northern outpost to protect Siena from the possibility of attacks by the Florentines. Then following the same road used by the early religous pilgrimages you will arrive to the city of Towers and have time to explore San Gimignano. Afterwards it is time to "taste" Chianti - Two wineries are included for your afternoon in the center of Italy's famous region for wine. A stop at a winery where you will have the possibility to enjoy a true Wine Class on the local wines, offering a wine tasting combined with a light lunch. Then in the next winery stop, you are going to taste their wine and balsamic vinegar production in a very exclusive and fashionable way to finish your day and before your return to Siena.
