Where are the accommodations in Tuscany?
We have selected an historic villa in Tuscany, south of Florence, on the edge of the Chianti wine region for the 1st 3 nights. The remaining 2 nights are in a hotel in Siena.
How do I arrive at the property?
The tour will provide transfers from Florence (hotel in the city, train station or airport). Transfers can also be arranged from other cities in Italy.
Where are the classes and who teaches them?
To provide a range of experience, we have distributed the classes among different instructors and settings. Each instructor brings their own expertise and naturally years of Cucina Italia. Typically the first of the classes will be held at the Villa, the second and third at either a nearby Chianti winery/osteria and then also in Siena.
Can you provide my airfare?
Yes, we can provide airfare from most U.S. departure cities. Please indicate your need for airfare when making your request, along with your departure city.
Can I join as a single?
Yes, we can accept a single person, or a group of individuals - to do this the tour requires minimum of 3 persons, including yourself. The single supplement is Euro 380
Where can we go after the tour?
A 2-night package in Florence at Hotel Albergotto (or similar) is offered as an option for after the culinary tour is completed - in this case a one way transfer to Florence will be provided and is included in the cost of the tour package. Other Italian cities can also be included; transportation to these cities will be priced according to the city and number of persons in your party.
How do I make payment for my reservation?
A 40% deposit will be taken to confirm your reservation. Sixty (60) days prior to the start date you will be required to make your balance payment. If the reservation is within the 60-day time frame, full payment will be required. Payments can be made by bank transfer, personal check or credit card.
