Definitions: PALIOTOURS.COM is a registered domain name. It is used in the context of the World Wide Web and other marketing portals to promote and solicit travel services. The name is part of Atlantic Ventures USA, Inc., ("the Company"), a registered travel company and provider of travel related services.

Cruise Only Prices: include private shipboard accommodations, ocean transportation, ship's water-sports programs, all meals and on board entertainment. Prices do not included port charges of up to $455 per person, gratuities of $8 per person per day, baggage handling, travel insurance, transfers, shore excursions, airport facility charges, taxes and fees, or personal expense items such as drinks, medical services, or phone calls. On board charges are in Euro. Airfare and Pre/post cruise Land Package options are in general offered separately. Limited time promotions may include these travel options. The Company reserves the right to increase prices due to, but not limited to, port charges, airport charges, taxes or fees assessed by third parties or governments.

Payments: A 20% deposit is due to confirm any reservation. The balance is payable 90 days prior to sailing date. Payments, less than 20 days to Cruise date can be made by credit card (AMEX, Mastercard, Visa) or by bank transfer>. Reservations and payment within 20 days of Cruise date are accepted with only credit card options

Refunds and Cancellations: IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE COMPANY IN WRITING OF YOUR INTENT TO CANCEL. If you cancel a reservation and the written cancellation is received within 120 days from the Cruise date, then all Cruise fares, fees and payments received by the Company will be refunded. If cancelation fees are charged by air carrier, hotels, or other land based suppliers, then these fees will be deducted from any refund made.

If cancellation occurs within the 120 period prior to Cruise date, then the following charges will be assessed:
119- 75 days prior to departure = $400 per person
74 - 60 days prior to departure = 50% of cruise fare
59 - 46 days prior to departure = 75% of cruise fare
Less than 45 days before start date: No refunds.

Airfare Program: As a convenience to our passengers, the Company through various 3rd party affliates, is able to offer roundtrip coach class air transportation from many US gateways to and from your port of embarkation & disembarkation. Final confirmation of flights will normally occur within 30 days of departure. Airline schedules may require an overnight stay in order to reach your embarkation and/or disembarkation destination. The hotel and other expenses associated with required overnight stays are the responsibility of the passenger. Airfares are based on capacity controlled contracts, promotional or group fares, so make your requests as early as possible to ensure availability. If contract fares are not available, passengers will be charged the difference between the contract rate and the actual airfare available. No upgrades to first or business class, using frequent flyer miles, are allowed when combined with our contract airfares. The Caompany reserves the right to choose the airline carrier, routing and schedule from each city, and the right to substitute charter or commuter flights for scheduled service or vice versa. All fares, routes and schedules are subject to availability and to change without notice. The Company is not responsible for any cancellations, reroutings or other disruption of schedules services, for any expenses or other consequences resulting from inclement weather, strikes, changes/delays in the ship’s schedule or a change/delay in the schedule or rerouting made by a passenger, travel agent, or airline. In such events, every effort will be made to assist passengers in securing alternate flight arrangements. The services and responsibilities of the air carriers are subject to the terms of the tariffs published or filed by such carriers and to the conditions printed on the ticket issued to passengers. All passengers are advised to reconfirm their flights with the appropriate airline at least 72 hours prior to departure as flight schedules may change after the air tickets are issued. Passengers should contact the airline for seat assignments. Lost, stolen or misplaced tickets are the sole responsibility of the passengers. All airline tickets provided by this program are nonendorsable, cannot be rerouted, reissued or exchanged for those of another carrier and can only be refunded by Star Clippers Americas Any airline penalties resulting from the cancellation or changes to the air arrangements are the responsibility of the passenger. Once air tickets have been issued, a $100 per person administrative fee, in addition to applicable airline penalties, will be assessed by the Company for any cancellations or changes requested by the passenger. For passengers with independent air arrangements in conjunction with our air program, we recommend an adequate allowance of time for travel delays and/or misconnections in their travel plans. Name Changes: Changes to airline tickets are subject to approval by the airline. In some cases, name corrections may result in the loss of original airline reservations and a minimum change fee of $100 per person; alternate carriers and schedules may then be substituted at our discretion

Watersports: All passengers have access to the watersports programs, which include snorkeling, SCUBA diving, sunfish sailing, and windsurfing. SCUBA requires evidence of proper certififications.

Travel Insurance: A cruise package only, travel insurance protection plan (offered by Travel Guard) can cover the costs associated with this offer, due to unforeseen sickness, injury, or death. Typical premiums range between $200 and $700. Contact us for more details.

Pre/Post Cruise Options: Hotels are reserved subject to your request and confirmed when proper payment (deposit) has been received. Charges unless otherwise informed will be incurred by the Company and then passed on as invoiced for payment by you either by check or by credit card. Any cancellation and subsequent refund is subject to the policies of the respective hotel and the refund schedule herein.

Advance Purchase Discounts: Any price discounts are per person and subject to change. They apply to Deluxe through Cat 6 cabins only and will quoted at the time of your reservation.

Passports & Visas: All customers must posses a valid passport and/or any visas or special travel documents that can be used a proof of citizenship. The Company accepts no liability for clients improperly documented.

General Conditions & Disclaimers: Confirmation and payment of any reservation constitutes acceptance of the financial agreements between the Company and the Customer and the provisions of this agreement are in effect. The Company is acting as a tour operator responsible for arranging reservations for the services as outlined in the website paliotours.com. All suppliers providing transportation, guided tours, and lodging for the Company are not associated with, nor are they employees of the Company. The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss, whether to person or property, arising from, but not limited to, injury, accident, death, delay, alteration or inconvenience, by whatever cause, including airline scheduling, default, strike, terrorism, war, hostility, civil disturbance, quarantine, or resulting directly or indirectly from any other acts of nature. Under no circumstances is the Company to be construed as a Common Carrier under contract for safe carriage of the passenger or his/her baggage and personal belongings.

Atlantic Ventures USA,Inc. is registered as a Seller of Travel in the states of Florida, Registration No. ST-33263 and California Registration No.2087502-50, doing business as Palio Tours (paliotours.com) and Ave Italia (aveitalia.com). The Company is not liable in respect to personal injury, loss or damage of personal property or loss of life, while engaged in the tours or other services provided herein. The Company is not responsible for third party cancellations for any reason due to unforeseen circumstances and or those beyond its control.

It is recommended that clients arrange travel insurances for medical, personal, property, or cancellation.
